The identified value of the company is an important pillar when you or other people have to make decisions and it serves to support argumentation. Especially when buying or selling a company, the company value is usually used as a benchmark for buyers and sellers. This means that without an evaluation, there is no guidance and thus no valid basis for negotiations.
The auditors of SHWP have mastered the various recognized methods for determining the value of a company: both the income capitalization method and the discounted cash flow method (DCF method) can be applied. Likewise, the WACC approach or a simplified income value method under the Inheritance and Gift Tax Act can be chosen.
Valuations are based on Standard 1 (IDW S1) of the German Institute of Public Accountants. SHWP can also assist if future fiscal years have not been planned yet and/or the figures from the recent past must be properly analysed.
