E-Bill Act
Across all industries, banks have currently reached the highest level of digitization. This will inevitably also have an increasing influence on workflows in financial accounting and tax consulting.
For example, the provisions of EU Directive 2014/55 of 16 April 2014 were implemented in the E-Bill Act of 4 April 2017. These new rules on invoice exchange with federal authorities enter into force at the end of November 2018.
The main content of this law is that an electronic invoice in PDF format no longer complies with legal requirements, as PDF documents cannot be processed automatically. It can therefore be assumed that in the mid-term all companies and self-employed persons will only be allowed to send X-Bills electronically.
SHWP support companies in the conversion processes that have become necessary as a result of this new legal regulation.

Digitization – Accounting 4.0
The manual processing of accounting documents will become obsolete in the mid-term. In the future, all business transactions will be processed digitally. This includes, inter alia, the recording of incoming and outgoing invoices, the so-called X-Bill, the digital processing of outgoing payments, electronic expense statements and the processing of account statements.
With online banking, a major area is already a standard feature in many companies. Online banking impressively illustrates the advantages of digitization: processes such as money transfer and the associated exchange of information are handled much faster than just a few years ago.
Increased efficiency in accounting
The increasing availability of digital data makes it possible to significantly increase efficiency in accounting. In addition, the company's sensitive data can be reliably protected by state-of-the-art security measures.
Our system partner DATEV offers a tailor-made document management system (DMS) for the purpose of comprehensive document management.
By using a DMS system, documents such as receipts, invoices, journals and other lists can be processed completely digitally.
However, the implementation of successful digitization requires careful preparation. SHWP support companies in the analysis of their current situation and accompanies them through all necessary steps in the course of implementation.
